This Good Life tea towel was an epic project for Poppy. Never has she put so much detail into a design!

Featuring all the comforts of a cosy home in the country including the old faithful Morris Traveller, a wood-burning stove, a few chickens and even a popular brand of yeast extract spread - love it or hate it! (Poppy loves it on toast).

Our tea towels start off as an embroidered design with Poppy cutting the applique pieces herself and then embroidering all the detail.  It's takes a long time and a lot of chin-scratching and debate among the team to get it just right before it goes to a local company where they carefully match the colours and screen print the design into lots of lovely tea towels for you to buy.

This beautiful design was taken right from the pages of Poppy's sketch books and inspired by her childhood on the edge of Bodmin moor. Some would say this tea towel is too nice to dry the dishes - why not frame it and hang on the wall instead!

All our tea towels are designed by Poppy and screen printed for us by a local company in Cornwall.
