Created as part of the artwork for our garden birds tea towel, in this vibrant Cuckoo embroidery, Poppy has used a restricted pallet of blue, red, black and yellow to create a piece as special as hearing (or even seeing!) a cuckoo.

This piece is stitched by Poppy on her vintage Singer sewing machine. The slightly unpredictable nature of drawing in stitch means that the lines have a naive quality to them.
